it comes down to how deep of a support the developer would give to a console in order to maximize the available potential. people like EA, for example, will always make the game for 1 console first and the port it for the others. so it is always that first console which most developers pick that will perform the best.

Yes it will. but graphics on both systems on each system are very close in power. but 360 will in fact have better graphics and resolution.

all the power in the world is useless if game developers wont design games to harness that power. I personally believe sealing a good deal with a great developer who will utilize a consoles full potential will out perform any hardware specs any competitor may put forth. Fortunatly Microsoft realizes this and does their best to lock down potential future developers with their big BANK ROLL Bungie was not long being swept up by Microsofts money. smart business

I agree with you studmuffin lol loads of people can be blind idiots and buy the inferior product becuase it looks prettier or something lol (thats what a girl might do anyway lol). I also agree with you Notorious, Numbers dont mean anything at this stage so stop blabbing on about the hardware specs, its up to the game developers now to battle it out and see who can create the best games. You can give game developers the best console ever made with the best hardware specs but its up to them to take advantage of it and use it up to its full potential. Just like John Carmack said, "being 20% easier to develop on is much more important than being 20% more powerful".
