why are these boards so dead

This site probably COULD use a little more advertising, (considering i came here by a mistake, trying to find another website) maybe put down the little money and get yourself in google? There are free services that claim to do this, but don't work very well. I'd go straight through google. I've owned a website for about a year and a half now, and the few months before I advertised I got few hits, and no regular visitors. Link swapping with other 360 modding sites is also a great idea, I believe most of them will with ease.

also remember it is a real competitive niche. everyone and their dog owns an xbox site :S
