I have the choice to buy either a widescreen 28 inch TV or a 20inch LCD.
Is the resolution so much better on the LCD that i should choose that over 8 inches?
I will also tend to play splitscreen 2 player and co-op alot.
What do you think widescreen or LCD?
I would go for which ever one has the Hi-Def on it. A 28 is a little bigger than 20, but if the 20 has Hi-Def on it, thats all you need. Is the 20 widescreen too? If so, you're good.
i go for widescreen but only if it has hd. The only good thing abour lcd is that its then.
Well, the 28 inch widescreen is not HD just normal and the LCD is HD but not widescreen

Me personaly I would get the LCD with HD but you said you played alot of CO-OP and Split screen for that stuff the bigger size screen the better,But one of my firends has a 44'' Plasma Widesceen HD TV the things awesome but when playing games on split screen I find it kinda hard to play in Widescreen at least on Halo2 since I don't have a Xbox 360 yet. i have an lcd it is good on it i like it on it but idk about wideescreen man it is all up to the gammer what he or she likes lol
hmmm are you sure the wide screen doesnt support hd tv, because i dont know of very many wide screens that dont.
I have a Samsung DLP by Texas Instruments and it is INCREDIBLE!!!!
If you can afford to get a mid-large version buy it. I believe mine is about a 52"
Here's another question. Does the 28 inch have a split screen feature? I know some tv's have picture in picture and some widescreens can slplit the screen down the top middle showin in a 4:3 ratio. If so, then the 28 inch would be prime for co-op games.
I like widescreen, for me it just looks better, pluss if the widescreen is bigger, well then use it...but the decicion is in your hands, just try both of them and see which one you like.
