I will more than likely be purchasing my 360 in spring 06, but If a price drop may be rumored to happen, I might then just wait. Or do you figure its too early to tell.

I heard they were going to do yearly price drops. Cant you get your hands on 360 now or do you just want to get it cheaper?

lol if u live in the US the only way u are gonna get a 360 is on ebay for outrageous prices

Price drop discussions are always 100% pure speculation. No console manufacturer tells the public or even it's vendors when a drop will occur. As a retailer I would get official notice the DAY it happened. I would get maybe a hint a week or two before that. It's way too early to even speculate about a price drop date. It could be 6 months, 12 months, or even longer...

i would think either when the ps3 comes out, or next christmas would be a good guess.

I heard the 360 will be like half the price of the PS3 when it finally releases. Dunno if you want to wait that long though lol

ha PS3 lol dont make me laff. out of the many people i know only 2 people are getting the PS3 and one of them is only getting it because the other 1 is threatening to beat him up if he gets the 360 lol.

and price wise even if the ps3 was only £20 or $35 i would still get the 360 cos i know the build quality is far better.
all im hoping is the prices of the games on the 360 are low.

Sounds good. I won't wait for a price cut though, i want it now!

Well, I won't be getting one until late-spring do to a shortage of systems in the US so i guess i can wait til PS3 Launch

the price drop wont happen for a year that meens that it will be next christmas not spring.
