Want some help with the whole website thing (you need it so I'm giving it to you anyway lol).
For starters Geocities=crap free hosting.
Your best off learning html and possibly php, css, and javascript but I doubt you want to do that so your going to need some decent free web host options with built in site creators.
you should probubly use sitekreator.com or freewebs .com
Freewebs has more templates site kreator has no forced ads.
Forums are my favorite type of clan site you can make a forum free with a fairly simple admin interface at this site.

That is the best but he doesn't even get the freewebs website creator so he needs somthing more basic 
oh well.
Whats best is to set up a slightly outdated computer 800mhz or so and hook it up to your network then install aphache my-sql and php. then getphpbb and make your own forum on your own dedicated server.
But what were talking about is whats easy. We need to be thinking about easy website generation I thought those sites were pretty easy but I guess not wuite enough oh well.

Acctually free hosting can be really good. Take atspace.com they have really good servers %99.9 uptime and no ads. There only short comings are a file size limiter that makes it so you can't have anything bigger than a picture on the host. And no php support.
Free Webs was good but after they got popular they made you upgrade for most of the things they gave you for free.
There are a lot of really good free servers out there the best ones are the ones that are hard to find.

ohh and no1 give it a web address like .tk or somting like that because i want to put the clan name in the .tk name
just a warning .tk is complete crap it's identical to a url forwarder like co.nr but they make your home page a full page ad with a link to the site a waste of time in my opinion
