If my 360 plays games in 1080, why doesn't it read HD DVD's without the add on component? I'll keep searching old posts here, but any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Standard DVD doesn't hold enough data to support a 720 or 1080 full length motion picture. HD DVD's hold 30 gigs of data per disk and a standard DVD holds around 4 gigs. I think some news came out today that toshiba is no longer supporting HD so I wouldn't buy the add on. I think its better to wait until Microsoft provides a blu ray add on or buy a separate unit.
