I don't have xbox live, but I went to a friends house with halo 3 today and we couldnt connect to xbox live. He just bought a month of xbox live less than a week ago, but still cannot connect.

He did, however, say that another friend of his was I guess cursing and stuff on live, so how would I know if he was suspended for a while?

And its not in the internet connection because we just unhooked the ethernet cable and plugged it into the laptop and connected fine. So it deffinately has to be in the xbox, or live part.

Any other suggestions?

Well he could have been suspended for cursing and junk but i dont know about that.

Well I myself ,early in my gaming stages, got a little angry over some period of time, and got suspended for 2 weeks. It must have taken some serious goody goodies to report you, so that might be it.
