Ok, im going to be buying a computer moniter ( This is the monitor ) and I know I need a vga cable but now I would like to know if a actually need a computer for a monitor to work? and I would like to know since this screen has no speakers what would I have to do about speakers and where would I plug them in?

Sorry if this sounds stuped but anything involving machines I suck at.
