and my cd drive works fine but when I put a disk into it, and close the door. The cd does not spin, the disk drive makes a noise like it is kinda trying to work, but then the door just opens and the disk doesn't get read

WATS THE PROBLEM!

It's probaly just the disk tray put in a little wrong. My best guess is either:

1) Send it back if you have warranty

2) Take apart the covers and fix it yourself.

i agree with Patrick, you problerly just dismounted the Rom-Drive, so its not centered.

take off the case and try to run the xbox then, if it doesn't work even after fiddling with it, then just send it back
