I got my 360 a little over a month ago, and I have been running on the 1 month free live deal. Before buying the 360 though, in reading through the many things one reads before buying things, I found that I couldn't really get a handle on what the Live silver got you and what the Live gold got you. The silver is free, but what do you get for upgrading to Gold. I never did really figure it out so I thought I will make sure I let my free month run out and see what happends. See if I can still download demos, access freind lists and what not. So it flipped to silver a few days ago and other than the color of my Gamercard I don't see a differance. I went and downloaded some game demos, and looked and seemed to still have friends list and messaging and what not. Now I haven't tried to voice chat or play online to see if I see any differance there, but the fact that it is so hard to pin down what it is you get for Gold makes me wonder if it is anything worth paying for at all. About the only thing as far as reading the text is "Player Matching" which as I understand it is supposed to match you with players more on your same level. Could someone please tell me what do you get for gold.
