i am wondering how do u snap off the faceplate for the 360. i am thinking of buying a new faceplate, but i am to scared to take off the current one because i am worried that i will brake it
I just start from the left side and yank lol. Try to pull the left and right side together. Ive never actually broken a faceplate and I am not very carefull.
Put your index and middle finger inside the USB garage in the front. And put your thumb on the little crack just below the USB garage that separates the faceplate from the console and then when you give it a little pull, it should come right out.

Don't worry about the "cracking" sound when you pull it out, that is normal...
i just grab the entire top (horizontal top) and pull out and down....
Start from the bottom of the faceplate. When that part is off, take top off. You wont mess anything up. Might snap, but that just means it's off.
Yeah, there's not really a way to "officialy" pull of a faceplate, anyway that works and is easy works...I use my method though, it seems easier for me because I can't seem to yank the faceplate from the side.

^^ That's what I do and it works just fine.

Yeah. The faceplate is easily removable from the XBOX 360.

Just pull and it'll pop off.
To get my faceplate off, I push the port where you plug the controllers in, in with my finger, then I pull up the bottom a little bit, and then i pull from the middle and it's off!
