Ok i just got my offical xbox 360 remote the one that comes with the console how do you take it apart i want to look in side can you guys help me???

it was a "limited edition" thing that came with the first wave of consoles.
I wouldn't buy the original batch of 360's. Too much complaining about malfuctions...

OK I GOT IT APART lol...now can you guys help me figure out how to wire leds into it???? first person to get me a turiol that i like gets all my x's...

on the bottom side of the remote there are the battery connectors there is a small spot with soder on it on the side with the button contacts. you solder 2 18 guage wires to each one then soder an LED on to the wires and wala no resistor needed
wow thanks.. i jsut did that...I put 2 wires to the batteries then to the led I did'nt have to cut anything no modifaction i just have to take the battery out evetytime im done with it intill i get a swtich small enough...I will post pics when i am done wiht all the mods.. and i will give you 100 x's thankd adrian...

ok does anyone here know how to make it so when you press a button on the controller the leds light up????? anyone? because right now i have it on all the time i just want it to turn on when i pres a button..
also does anyone know if there are color changing leds and how i would activate it so when i press a button on the remote it would light the led.... uh oh sorry for the double post..
