Ok i have a fan stand but it dosent feel like it does anythign shoudl i buy the intercooler and have both on or woould it put to much stress on the 360..should i just have the inercooler on and sell the fan stand??
GRR whats the whole point of an intercooler?
No, you shouldn't as TBGixxer said on Xbox Magazine it doesn't really do anything if nothing has gone wrong. Stay with the Fan Stand, I heard the intercooler causes stress on the original fans.
You'll need to mod the fanstand in order for the Nyko Intercooler to fit.
I suggest you don't get two. One is enough. The Xbox 360 wasn't even suppose to have 3rd party developers making things to prevent overheating.
The Fanstand Pushes Cold Air Into the 360 and goes out.
The Intercooler Forces Air Out.
Having 2 would be no good since the Intercooler will just suck the cold air out of it immedietley.

Wrong on both counts. Of course Microsoft knew 3rd party support would be all over this system. MS is making money off them too. And you want to blow hot air out, not push more air in that small area. And you assume that it blows cool air in. No air is cool that is around the 360. Pull air out is what you want. Not blowing more air in mixing it with the hot air in there and making it circle around the box until it exits out the fans.
Lethal, don't you have a intercooler? Any problems with it so far?

No problems at all.

Here is somebody with cooling experience with a PC. He's 100% correct.
I dont know what everyones talking about saying the intercooler doesnt work. Try this, play your xbox for an hour, feel the front top, and the middle top of the sytem. You can almost cook an egg. Then do the same with the intercooler set up, theres no heat at all. For me anyway
I also have my xbox in the same area as a 1000 watt reciever a digital Cable box and a dvd player which all put out there share of heat, and with the intercooler i havent had a heating problem even with people over playing it for 10+ hours without getting shut off
I'm gonna get me the intercooler. I'm starting to notice some heat on my 360 after just an hour of play.
Wabash... when you first got your 360, was it cooler than than right now after one hour? I started to notice more heat coming than before. Before, it was pretty cool.
can you flip the fan backwards in the fan stand to suck the hot air out??
I don't know try it, I don't think it'll fit though.
no the stand just the fan ill try it..Wtf the screws are weird...Its phillips but only has 3 things in it but a phillpis has 4
Then don't do anything. Give me some input about the intercooler when you get it.
