Very interesting. I think that MSFT is telling the truth. The reason as to why they sound so worried about it is because they know how fast negative word spreads. They're trying to keep these bad reviews of busted X360s from spreading.
I mean, its human nature to complain more than to praise. You don't see nearly as many threads on forums about how people are very pleased with their X360s as threads about how they are broken. Does this mean that most X360s are busted? No, it means that the people who do have them are posting more about their problem than the people who have no issues are posting about their great functionality.
