I was wondering if we could have a thred just about game reviews like if you bought a game a played it and give some ratings. My first X360 game was NBA 2k6. Here's my review.
Graphics: 90/100.
A big improvment over the last Xbox console. It seems like only the players are actually "realistic" looking. The rest, the coaches, audience...ect are just like the original Xbox audiences. Great effets, jerseys move with the players, sweat, and clearity.
Gameplay: 85/100.
I don't suggest you buying this game if you have NBA 2k6 for Ps2 or Xbox. It's really much the same gameplay just better graphics. But if you are a basketball fan, this is a great first game to start out with, just to test out the power of your new 360.
Sound: 95/100.
Sweet sounds! The commentators actually know the players name, whether it's a 3,2 point, and say somethings like "i don't know why he took that shot, i would get him off the court right now" if you make an airball from half-court or shoot a 3 with Shaq. The only bad thing is that sometime the sounds fade then get back to life. Sound is great though.
Value: 85/100.
Great game if you don't have the Ps2 or Xbox same versions. There are no different modes for the 360 so not a really good buy if you have this game already. It's good for first time impressions.

Tomb Raider Legend
Graphics: 88/100
Not bad graphics but I feel the 360 can do a little better.
Gameplay: 90/100
Very easy controls and everything feels pretty nice. Game is identicle to the Xbox version in gameplay but is night and day when it comes to graphics.
Sound: 90/100
Great music and sounds. Really sets the mood nicely.
Value: 75/100
Pretty short game and after you collect all the crap you probably wont play it again.
Overall: 85.75/100
Great game for Tomb Raide fans.
Fight Night Round 3
Graphics: 95/100
Some of the best graphics on the 360.
Gameplay: 95/100
Different control configs to choose from. Lots of fun and a great online game.
Sound: 80/100
Nothing special.
Value: 85/100
Single player mode gets old after you become champ. More replay value online.
Overall: 88.75/100
Recommended for any boxing fan.
MLB 2K6
Graphics: 70/100
Looks no better than the Xbox. Pretty dissapointing.
Gameplay: 70/100
Fielding is kind of funky. Pitching when a runner is on base is sometimes screwy. Lots of wild pitches. Pretty easy to hit HRs.
Sound: 90/100
Lots of commentary and crowd noises. Commentary is off sometimes though.
Value: 70/100
Really not that good of a game. Better than some baseball games but if you have MLB 2K6 for the xbox then there is no reason to downgrade to the 360 version.
Overall: 75/100

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
Graphics: 90/100
Great lighting effects and stunning visuals.
Gameplay: 90/100
Very fun... Great gameplay, Live lacks some of the campaign mode controls (hugging walls, taking cover). First game I've ever felt like playing on regular and hard mode.
Sound:
Can't really give this one a fair rating b/c I ain't rocking any special speakers or surround sound.
Value: 85/100
Great campaign, Live, and co-op but I only went back to this game after Blockbuster ran out of good titles in stock for rent.

Multiplayer via Live is great... when you can get into a game. The rooms have a host who can pick and choose who he wants to play. If your a Noob to the game then that "level 1" will get you kicked out of a lot of rooms. Halo's matchmaking was better.

Overall great game, recommended purchase if you have Xbox Live or are a war game fan. Otherwise, just rent it...
Call of Duty 2
Graphics: 80/100.
I think this because it looks the same as the PC version. Their faces look kinda blurry and such.
Gameplay: 90/100.
Great First Person Shooter. Lots of action and effects. Only thing werid, I think is that their hand on the front of the gun never moves when then shoot.
Sound: 95/100.
Great sound effects, loud and crisp.
Live: NA/Na
Never tried it.
Overall: 85/100.
Some cocky graphics, not as "realistic" as possible for Next-Gen. But great story and gameplay.

This Game ROCKED. Took me a little long to beat, because im not good at beating games fast. Anyways, the game needed to be a tad longer.

Absolutely beautiful game. A huge improvement over the PC and Xbox versions and I thought those were amazing. I just like to sit there and stare at the water for it's sheer beauty.
If this is what an early Xbox 360 game can do, I can't wait to see what they do later on when developers really start to tap the Xbox 360's potential.
Gameplay: 90/100
Pretty basic shooter...until you get you feral abilities. The feral abilities really add spice to tired FPS formal. I've only gotten through the original instincts storyline but so far it has a good story, loads of action and the graphics only make it that much better.
Sound: 80/100
I feel the sounds are the one area of the game that they could have stood to work more on. The environment and ambient sounds are great but when it comes to weapons it seriously lacks. Firing a heavy machine gun doesn't sound at all like a machine gun at all. The pistols sound like bebe guns. They could have really taken a page from Black's book on the sounds here.

Two games in one, Instincts and Evolution. The story modes are pretty lengthy for a first person shooter and than you got online multiplayer. This is the only 360 game that really deserves the $60 price tag.
Live: 85/100
Haven't spent alot of time on Live yet as the story mode is very fun but I can tell Live just enhances the experience. You got your basic Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch modes as well as some other interesting modes that haven't gotten to try out. But what really makes it interesting is the map editor. You can create your own map and than take on Live to play with it other people. The map editor should keep this game alive for a while.
Overall: 90/100.
Great game, fun story, fun on Live, amazing graphics, and a great value! Only thing it could have done better is the sounds. Oh well still well worth the $60 price tag.

This game really puts you into war, with your buddies screaming around you and bullets as well as explosions ringing your ears are the best, this game is very immersive

When played on a Surround Sound System at a loud volume you really get the feeling of being in war especially when an explosion goes off and you flinch because its soo loud, its great its like actually being inside the war.
Online Play:9.5/10
Online Play used to be pretty bad with really bad lag and a couple of good maps, this time thought they updated it with a bette party system, no lag, and a couple of new maps (5 more new maps in June) online play is awesome talking with teammates, seeting up strategies, and helping to gun down your opponents is a real blast. The only bad thing is is that there are only up to 8 players in one game, which isnt bad, it is still a lot of fun.
Overall: 9.5/10
For all you people out there who like loud games realistic shooting, WWII games or just like FPS games in general pick this up this game is awesome!! Remember to play the game loud!

Some of the best on the 360. Though pop ups tend to happen and not the best draw distances .

Controls are perfect and is really easy to pick up and start playing.

Hooked up to surround sound you really cant get a better experience.

You can spend hundreds of hours on this game before completing it. Online mode would give this a perfect score.

Probably the only game that is actually worth $60. Highly recommended game. I would also put this as the best game of the year.

The game isnt perfect. I mentioned some of its flaws. The PC version gets a 99/100 because of the ability to create mods and improving performace.

From the looks of your sig and gamer pic I think your just a major fanboy of Oblivion. The game isnt quite perfect. Alot needs to be addressed for it to be perfect.
yeah there are a few bugs in the game, but i don't find them to be a big deal. i haven't come across one game that doesn't have bugs. i dont think i'm a major fanboy(maybe i am). i just enjoy playing the game. it is my favorite game for the 360. i think it is a great work of art, and just plain fun. i am not like on oblivion message boards and always talking about it and crap. i am a fan of the game because it is a great game. i have never played a game like it before
