the guy on Ebay who posted an Xbox box for sale? He had a picture of the 360 box... some chump paid like 1000.00 usd for it and then filed a complaint when he only rec'd the box. He filed a complaint w/ ebay and ebay said "sorry... he was selling an xbox box and listed it correctly"... dumb@$$!

Yea I hardly ever drop that kind of money on eBay. For that high I'd rather wait and get it brand new. If I do I only buy from somebody will great feedback and I go through and read all of their negatives.

I won't have to wait for that dude. The feedback system makes it a really stupid decision to rip someone off. If you have a bad feedback rating, most people won't even sell to you.
My brother's been on ebay since 1997, again no problems. These problems are really scarce. If it was really that widespread, EBay would've gone bankrupt long ago.

Well, I've been in this "fairy tale world" for two years and have only managed to save money and to make money in the real one. Sounds like a good deal to me.
There are more thieves in the streets than there are on EBay. I've had more bad experiences shopping at physical stores than I have ever had on EBay. Buying something in and of itself is a risk, regardless of where you get it.
