The only thing that's official is that you'll be able to queqe files for download and you can download in the background of games. While playing on Live, it'll make sure your game connection gets priority over your download.
Hopefully, it includes a web browser!
sounds cool but why would you want a web browser, just use your laptop or PC for that?
So I can browse from the comfort of my couch...

Yeah, basically. The PSP has it and the PS3 will have it, so why not the X360. I would love to be able to switch from Oblivion to the internet within seconds right from my bed
All this new couch potatoe technology combined with fast food franchises taking over the world should make for obesity problems in not time!

Well, actually, I'm a body builder so it wouldn't really affect me.
If there was a web broswer it would almost make the 360 perfect!
I hope you realize that although having a web browser on your 360 would be nice it would totally ruin the whole live anywhere thing that Moore was talking about at the Microsoft Press conference. The whole point of Live Anywhere was that from a computer or Cell phone you could check your friends list or play against people on the PC. im just saying it would kinda ruin the point, but dont get me wrong have a browser would be cool, but if you already have a computer it would be kinda useless.
Being able to download things while you play games is freaken sweet, i cant wait for this feature, of course im going to have to free up some space on my harddrive but it will all be worth it in the end.

Live Anywhere isn't just about checking Live Profiles from your PC or cellphone. Its also about being able to challenge your friends on one platform (PC for example) all the way from your X360 or cellphone. Being able to see profiles on your browser from your X360 wouldn't ruin anything.
Okay, I'm just new to the 360. Are updates only availiable through Xbox Live? Usually, what are the updates about? Will it increase the performance of my 360?

The speed of your 360 is what it is. The updates are for the dashboard. Mostly backround downloads and the ability to download and play games. Updates also happen when you have a game that has an update out. Roster, bug fixes, maps, etc. Major updates are automatic.
Yeah. They said that they'll be doing two major updates annually. The one we're talking about in this thread is supposed to be here by the end of May, but I think it'll be late. Sony was late on their firmware updates for the PSP a lot of the time too. The next 360 update will come in the fall.
I read that it's coming in June
