Arika Brings Tetris to Xbox 360
Just in case you haven't already heard.

June 5, 2005 - Lost amongst the buzz from Gears of War and Dead or Alive 4 during E3 was the quiet announcement of a Tetris game for the Xbox 360. Japanese publisher Arika announced via its website that it will be bringing the Tetris: The Grand Master arcade series to the system. Tentatively titled T4, the Xbox 360 title will be an original entry in the series and will feature Xbox Live competitive play.

Tetris Grand Master is currently on its third entry in the arcades with Tetris: The Grand Master 3 -- Terror Instinct. In addition to standard Tetris-style falling blocks play, the game features a "hold" button which allows you to hold a piece in reserve and switch it in for your current piece.

Details on the Xbox 360 T4 are expected to be revealed soon.

Thats a pretty low graphics, old game to come out on a brand new system of 360 which has soooo many greater possibities.

Hmm, multiplayer tetris sounds fun.

Now that you think about it...yeah I guess it will be okay as multiplayer.

Teris world was pretty fun to play at 3 o'clock in the morning and you can still can do prety good to plus im sure thell add video chat and stuff it will be cool also alot of girls play Tetris so if you ever want to paly with some girls on Xbox just play games like that or world Championship Poker.

I hope they don't mess it up like tetris worlds. for god's sake, it's hard to mess it up, but THQ managed, or whoever the developer is.

Tetris Worlds was run online just really stupid offline.

i personally believe that tetris should stay on the handheld consoles only.. When i am sitting down at my xbox or ps2 or gamecube to play a game, i want to play a good high quality game like god of war for ps2, counter strike or halo 2 for xbox, or super smash bros melee or sonic adventure 2 battle for gamecube. No offense to all of you who are excited about this, but i personally believe that tetris should only be on handheld consoles, as it is a time-consuming game to play on a long trip. (not me personally i don't play tetris on my handheld system on long trip, i have a nintendo ds and a psp within a month i will have, when i am on a long trip, i play one of my 8 games for the ds, or i hook up my ps2 [bought a screen and some other items too hook it up for on-the-go] and play a ps2 game or watch a dvd.

I like tetris will probably pick it up

Tetris was good when it was first released, but who is gonna play it now a days? People will probally buy it but they will play it for about a week.

maybe tetris will be a free game in the xbox live arcade it comes with.....
