When comparing all of the nextgen controllers, which do you think is better, from what ive seen of the other two controllers they look and probably feel kinda wierd, especially the PS3's and dont get me started on the Revolutions so called.....well......Revolutionary controllers. What do all of you think?
I love how the 360 controller feels in my Hands. it just feels RIGHT. The PS3 is supposedly going for the boomerang design because it is a more natural fit for your hands.
well to me it certainly didnt look that way, and the ps3 controller didnt really look all that fps user friendly either.
i wonder what the revolution controller will feel like, due to the fact that it doesnt use a control stick to look around on the screen, and instead having to point where you want to look on the screen seems a little difficult especially for fps's

It will feel like any tv remote Very Happy
I rekon the controller will be awesome being able to detect movement, but I'd prefer to stick with the good o'l control stick anyway.Hard for fps's? wouldnt it be easier? since you would be able to point the remote directly at the head within a second.

I read they are getting rid of the boomerang style for the PS3 controler and its not more like a wireless ps2 controler.

and the revolution controler, well, not much to be said. Star wars will be fun?

the 360 one just feels good. I had a few friends over and they grabbed the 360 controler and were just like, woa, this is sweet. It feels so good.

I can barely go back to the old xbox contolers.
The 360 controller is perfect.

The PS3 controller....no one knows what it looks like cause they have ditched the boomerang design and developers have only been given general guidelines as far as button placement and configuration to work with.

The revolution controller.....well the tilt technology is cool but I'm still unconvinced how comfortable it will be to use a remote in one hand and have a joystick in the other connected to the remote via a wire........I will have to wait and see on that one.

I second on that one. Perfect fit and one of the reason i did not get a xbox was becauseof the big bulky controller, but the 360 controller is just right.

where did you hear that they ditched the PS3 boomarang controller?

with the revolution i feel that playing with the remote will feel more like a mouse rather than a controller

i third that the xbox360 controller is perfect

*puts a PS3 on the ground and kicks it into the air, laughing hysterically*
xthe xbox 360 controller is the only controller they aren't trying to make totally different i just want sumthing comftorable so i can control my games with ease. i dont need ne big innovations. with that said the revolution should be able to play rts' with the controller they have. we shall have to wait and see if they truly changed the way controllers are made
I bet the Revolutions controller is going to backfire in Nintendo's face, as for the PS3 i dont really care because what ever Sony brings out....Microsoft will do better.

I have seen on some interviews on TV where developers have sais that the boomerang is out as far as they know. That's part of the reason why at all the shows (TGS, etc) the PS3 boomerang is labelled concept.
Also in the recent interviews done with Tommy Tallarico (I probably spelled that wrong) he mentions a few times that the boomerang is not the final look or version, and that developers have been notified of that.....apparantely Sony is keeping the final PS3 controller under wraps....You will definately see it at E3 though when they make all of their big announcement.......maybe they will come with a modified PS2 controller with the tilt technology in it the Nintendo is playing with...but that's a big maybe................I figure though that the PS3 contoller will be similar to the PS1/2 controller....atleast as far as button layout goes.

If i cand find the link to the interviews I will post it later on

it still doesnt matter really the 360's controller in my opinion is better, its a very comfortable controller that was designed very well for the 360, we still have yet to see how the other consoles controllers are going to do
They said that the ps3 controller will be alot easier on the hands.
How can you possibly write off the Revolution controller they came up the the thumb joystick and started the craze of replacing the sholder button with a trigger. That controller you all are saying is the only way is built of concepts that nintendo came up with.

Now they say that the revolution controller is the new way and I will believe them untill they are proven wrong.

I'm really looking forward to trying it out with a rpg that is made for it.
