i have just set up xbox live silver and i have 1 month free trail of gold and if i like it that much i might buy the gold membership but i'm just wondering if i wanna get xbox live working in my bedroom do i need one of these



because at the moment i'm using the ethernet cable which connects my xbox360 to my computer (which my computer is connected to the internet through a wireless network) but anyway when i connect the etherent cable to my pc nothing happens when i try to connect to xbox live from my xbox360

If you have a wireless router, you could use that wireless adapter to get your 360 online.

i think it is somehow possible but i don't know how. I would probably hook it up right to the router if you could. If that doesn't work you can get an old wifi receiver made for the old counsels which is cheaper and just hooks up through Ethernet instead of usb.

yeah i have hooked it up to my router and it does work and if i ain't reready mensioned it i only wanna connect my pc and xbox360 using the ethernet cable because i'd prefer to have xbox live in my bedroom and keep going down stairs and setting it up for live all the time
