When i plug my ipod into my 360 i want to play songs. i clicked on all different songs and they all have a big red circle with a line through it next to it and wont let me play and songs. does anyone now why?

Did you buy them off itunes or somthing like that? Music you buy off itunes has security protection on it to keep you from giving it to your friends

i have the same problem but on some of the songs that i didnt buy that i got off a cd

it is because microsoft added an option for u to plug in to ur 360 but apple didnt agree so they did it secretly and they dont know all of the things u need to know, in another words they dont know how to do it they just added the option for pluging ipod into 360.

Itunes music wont work, but if you downloaded it off cds or off other sites on the internet it should work.

actually it's coz songs on ipod's are aac file format and the xbox360 does'nt support aac music files so you need to convert them all to wma or mp3 but i dunno where to find any good converter programs coz i have the same problem to

does 360 work with any version of ipods out there. Can it play videos by any chance off of the video ipods

what kind of ipods doesnt it work for if it plays ipod videos how can they do that when microsoft doesnt even have permision from apple.

they have somewhat permission from apple. The songs just have a copyright thing on them for security.
